Doubtless, there is a significant prosperity and rapid growth at the local, national and international levels in all domains, which in turn requires qualified staff and professionals to promote modern technologies in all fields of science. From this point of view and in line with the State’s orientation towards informatics, the college of Technology started and was the first cornerstone for the establishment of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology which was approved by ministerial decision from the Ministry of Information Technology. The faculty grants the bachelor degree with honours in 8 semesters in the following disciplines: Information Technology (IT), Information systems and Software Engineering.
